ANTITOXIC

Both ALUMINUM SILICATE and BISMUTH, components of Protecto Entero Pectin, have enormous absorbent and adsorbent power of toxins, bacteria and ingested toxic substances that are eliminated through the feces.

CARMINATIVE

By effectively reducing surface tension, it breaks up air bubbles and absorbs gas. This eliminates the mechanical irritation caused by compression on the inflamed mucosa.

ANTISEPTIC

BASIC BISMUTH NITRATE, through the action of intestinal bacteria, releases dinitrogen trioxide, with a strong antiseptic power.

SPASMOLYTIC

PEP forms a gel that combines bismuth and hydrated aluminum silicate, creating a coating over the inflamed mucosa, thereby reducing intestinal secretion. It has significant coagulating power, with the three active ingredients forming an astringent protective barrier.
